We’re looking for a Compliance & Labour Law Officer to strengthen our labour law and regulatory compliance team. This role is ideal for someone who understands that labour law and compliance must work in the real world — not just on paper.

🔹 About the Role

You’ll support our employer-side clients with labour law, OHS, and general compliance, working closely with senior consultants on active matters.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Labour Law & Employment Compliance

• Draft and review employment contracts
• Assist with disciplinary processes and documentation
• Prepare labour compliance files for employers
• Support CCMA preparation and employer guidance

Compliance & Regulatory Support

• Assist with OHS and workplace compliance documentation
• Review client compliance status and identify risk gaps
• Support construction and business compliance projects
• Prepare checklists, reports, and client-facing documents

Client Support

• Liaise with clients on compliance requirements
• Maintain accurate compliance records and files

🔹 Minimum Requirements

• Qualification in Labour Law, HR, Industrial Relations, Law, or Compliance
• Minimum 2 years’ practical experience in labour law or compliance
• Working knowledge of:
  • Labour Relations Act (LRA)
  • Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA)
  • Employment Equity
  • OHS Act (advantage)
• Strong drafting and documentation skills
• Organised, professional, and detail-oriented
